Just a quick hello to let you all know I'm still around!

I am having a wonderful, relaxing holiday with family.

We have had a huge snowfall here and, unfortunately, amongst the fun of tobagganning and such, I took a spill and broke my hand.

Needless to say I won't be putting many words with my blog posts for a while... It's just too hard to type with one hand!

But I'll still come by and "visit" you all!

Happy New Year!

  3. That's terrible! I hope it gets better soon!

I am glad to know you guys had a good Christmas. But I am a little jealous of all the snow. It has been drab and gloomy here. But too warm to be snow. Oh well, at least it's been warm.

    Take care my friend!
I hope you feel better soon!

  6. Very sorry to hear about your hand Katrina, hope it isn't too painful and that your boys are being helpful. My blog has had an enforced 'break' too, on account of complete and final collapse of the old computer, and a week (and counting) of human viruses. A smart new computer is just being put through its paces so hope to see you there soon.

  8. Thanks all! The break was pretty bad... I actually shattered the bone in the side of my left hand by my pinky. Thankful that it's my left and not my right! Hubby has been great but I am learning to do a lot one-handed! Yes, Mrs. Wibbs, you've suspected right... I won't be able to stay away, even if this one hand typing takes crazy long! lol!

Oh, and the snow is melting quick now and we're sloshing through a lot of wet so don't bother being too envious! : )

  9. That picture is gorgeous!! There's no chance for us to see any snow down here in the SC because the weather has been between 73 and 79 degrees since Christmas.

PS - I'm sorry to hear about your hand...woo, woo, woo :) I hope it heals fast.

  10. oh sick. I sprained my wrist last Christmas Eve and completely bruised up the entire right side of my body falling down the church basement steps at the Christmas Eve service, and I was 5 1/2 months pregnant! That hurt for months... I'm so sorry for you!!

  11. Ouch! I know that if I did any amount of outdoor snow-type activities that I would surely break something too - it's just the way I roll. (And really, I roll around too, usually when I fall, which is weekly) Hope you heal up quickly!
