A Photo Shoot for Grad.

This past Canada Day I had the privilege of spending some special time with my sister and her 6 wonderful daughters, the oldest of which has just graduated high school. We went all around their farm and I had so much fun taking pictures of them (mostly her two oldest) in their pretty dresses.

Thanks, girls, for being willing to try different things, there's many more to show you... like, 95 shots all together... I know, I went a little overboard but you'll like them, I promise! :)

Shiloh and Isaiah

Yesterday.
The rain had finally let up followed by a gorgeous sunny day today.
Made the most of it by capturing a few moments of Shiloh at 6.5 months and Isaiah at 8.5 months.

Blue-eyed Boy

So, I decided I should get some practice photographing babies that are a little older. Newborns are easy because they will sleep through most anything.

My precious baby, Isaiah, is almost 5 months old and so active already! It's hard to get a shot of him being still! He also REFUSED to look at the camera! Not sure why... maybe he's tired of that "black thing" always in his face???

I'm so thrilled with this shot, though. My very favorite of him, so far.

Sweet Elizabeth

Another photo session with another dear friend. I was so thrilled to be able to practice on this gorgeous 1 week old baby girl and her pretty mama. Can you believe this is her 6th baby? Doesn't she look so happy and peaceful? I just love her.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Isaiah is such a content baby. Here he is just lounging during one of the many photo shoots I subject him to (really, I can't help myself... he's just so precious!) He was actually falling asleep towards the end so I picked him up and put him in his cradle and he went right to sleep without a fuss.

Last night I put him to bed at 8:30 and he didn't wake up again until 12:30 and then not again until 4:00! I had such a good sleep as a result and am feeling so good.

Thank you for all your well wishes and congratulations. I am enjoying this new life to the full.

I love experimenting with photography and was thrilled when my dear friend asked me to take pregnancy photos of her.
She's due next month and just as beautiful as ever.
