I'm Gonna Miss these Moments...

I know I have posted a picture similar to this in the recent past,
but I wanted to post this specifically for this reason.
Pam is asking us to post pictures of moments we know
we're gonna miss when they are past.

I thought it was a really neat idea and I immediately thought of
this picture 'cause I know I'm gonna miss this...
cuddles with my youngest son, Allan. He does this so much, and I let him, because I know that all to soon he won't come to me for this anymore.

  1. Wow! Inspires me to take a few more pictures of those things that I will miss of my kids.
I loved the photos of the boys in the red caps and I found the article on Sinter Klass very interesting. Thanks, I will try to add it to our family traditions starting next year.

  2. Ohhh! That is so sweet! I do miss it still and my thumb sucker is twelve.

I nearly fell off my chair when you posted about Sinterklaas. I had wondered if you had some Dutch background in you. Now I know :-). I started a post about Sinterklass, but didn't get around to publishing it until this morning as I was being lazy about downloading the camera.

Your photos are amazing! Photography is so fun nowadays! Love the black and white with the red!

  5. This is so precious. I can just feel my daughters snuggled up against me like that when I look at it (which doesn't happen as often anymore). I, too, am gonna' miss it.

Thanks for sharing Allan with us:)

  7. i LOVE little boys that suck their thumbs...
some mums are really against it and would rather their child used a pacifier - but i think it's one of the cutest things about little ones. my ben sucks his thimb too, in fact, sam my 8 year-ol, still sucks his, too - and i'm not about to ask either of them to stop. i'd rather foot the orthodentist's bill if and when it comes to that, than force my boys to give up this little bit of their childhood that brings them comfort and puts a warm glow in my heart... :o)

  9. Your Sinter Klaas post was very interesting. We saw him arriving on a barge on holiday in Amsterdam one year! We like the stockings bit of the day too. By the way, I spotted you over in The Rose Garden just now...
