There's a birthday coming up...

he's gonna be five soon, you know.
It's pretty serious business...

picking out a gift.

The boys spent a good deal of time dreaming their way through this catalog yesterday. When I asked Marcus what he would like if he could have any toy he wanted in the whole world, he said,

"I wan' a little gun for shooting!... and a light saber that has lights, AND... a real motorcycle!"

Hmmm...we'll see.

(Does it get any more BOY than that???)

  1. i was totally one of those young moms who said "No" to anything weapon-related. Now we have at least 4 light sabers, numerous play guns and a bazillion swords. So much for those ideals!!! :)

  2. *smile* Love it! I never thought I would have a boy for some odd reason. Just thought I was the girl type, but I am sooo happy I have a little guy. Celebrating his little life with you, Angie

  5. I well remember the slice of bread nibbled into the shape of a gun, not to mention surprisingy sophisticated weapons fashioned out of Lego.
Thank you for my award too.

  6. For my wedding registry my soon to be husband registered for a light saber...he was so upset when we didn't get it. Then we registered for our baby...and Rick finally got his light saber after our little boy was born. Just thought I would let you know...even though my husband is quite a bit older then 5 he is still excited about "boys" toys. :)

  7. The boys are just so cute! My girls like to do this as well with sales flyers.

My nephew recently received his first BB Gun and that is all he talks about! It is very sweet!

  12. My boys are the SAME way! My oldest is 6 1/2 and not only wants light sabers but one in every color! We have more toy guns, swords, boxing gloves than I would have ever dreamed of. My 2 year old even runs around dressed like batman. Boys are so precious. :-)
